I know I'm a little late for this post, but I did try posting this message earlier, but for some reason I couldn't get my computer to do it, so now I tried reposting after all of those bad messages that these dumb people keep posting. And now I just want to wish Brady Seals a happy belated birtheday, hope he received everything he asked for, hope he was feeling well from the cold he just recently had.

My friend, Roxanne, and I won tickets to the Covington show. We didn't win the tickets until the day before so it was a very nice surprise! The show was, of course, awesome. They rocked the house even though it was acoustic. It really didn't make a difference to the crowd. After the show, they were still the sweet, good-natured guys they usually are...which just added to the quality of the show. Needless to say, we were very impressed again with their talents and abilities. It was a fantastic show!! We already have our tickets, in hand, for the show in Lynchburg, Virginia. Can't wait to see them again!!!!

If you haven't seen it, this was posted on the HAP Official Site, "In a recent nationwide survey of over 200 country music clubs and dance instructors, Hot Apple Pie’s debut single, “Hillbillies” claimed the number three spot as the dance track most played and most requested. The track can be found on the group’s self-titled album that was released this past summer." I hope lots of you are doing the "Hillbillies" line dance!!!

I noticed a date on the schedule that Hot Apple Pie is going to be in Clive, Iowa. Where in the world is Clive, Iowa, also how soon is soon for the Brady Seals site going to be up? It's been down for months, and to us loyal fans the phrase "soon" means just in about 3 weeks and it's has been 3-4 months for that site being down! which is 12-16 weeks.

I really love the photos you just recently put on Ken! The guys really look nice, and I think it's the best I've seen of them! Lisa really looked pretty in her dress. In those recent photos she too looked very pretty as well. I did like her black shirt with black sequence on the color that covers the top of the shoulders as well, but the dress is what really made her look pretty as well as her hair being pulled back to show her beautifuly shaped face and glowing skin! They all look good!

Hey, I looked at the picture of the guys at the Tug McGraw Foundation Gala and they all look great. I had to travel about an hour to get to Louisiana to see the guys show and I consider myself very lucky to have seen them once. I got a seat on the second row and was really thrilled with that, I was so close to all of them. Got lots of good pictures too. It was a very, very small crowd and they stayed afterwards to sign and visit with everybody, it was great!! I got to have my picture taken with them and wouldn't take a million dollars for that experience. Hopefully again one day....Kathy Allen

Susie, I don't think anyone has said that HAP would only tour Texas next year, Brady says they would tour Texas for a month or so. While the wouldn't be so great for those of us who don't live in Texas; a month isn't that long. Personally, I'm happy with the number of dates they're doing; if they want to more, great; if not, fine.

I remember reading something about Little Texas doing 300+ shows a year. I don't really remember the days when Brady was in the band because I was just 10 when he left the band in 94 and because of my parents not being groupies, I didn't realize who Little Texas really was until I was 12 when I got the Little Texas "Greatest Hits" album for Chirstmas of 96. I didn't know who Brady was when "TNN" did a special on Brady's album with "I Fell" on it. I wasn't really watching, I was listning to the show, as the very familliar voice started to sing, and then I went to watch the show and had no clue who he was until his name was said! Brady is the only history I took real interest in, lol, History wasn't one of my best classes in school, but I did it well for Brady. I liked the song, and bought that album. I really liked it, and I still listen to it to this day. But anyway I understand what you are saying about not too many shows so they don't get burned out, but I don't see any harm and kicking up the dates a little more and help out on their promotion. Can't expect to travel to select few different states and expect to be known for your talents, gotta travel at least twice to every state and performing at their best and makeing the fans go home saying "Wow, that was amazing, can't wait to go see them again" like the do every time!

I know when Brady was in Little Texas they did something like 300 shows a year. Now that's A LOT of time away from home and living out of a suitcase! I think that we're all very lucky if we get to see HAP once a year! Don't yall! I know we all need our fix (smile), but we don't want them to burn out either, right? :-)

Well, I'm not saying don't tour Texas, I'm saying don't just tour Texas and no where else. Every state is a great state because this is America, and just like Tracey suggested, if you want them to come, call or email your local venue and ask them to book Hot Apple Pie. But just how far of a drive was Louisiana? I also have noticed that the schedule doesn't have very many dates, so just how much are the guys actually on tour?

I think that a Texas tour is a wonderful thing for the guys to do, we have such a big state with lots of great cities. I don't think they should limit their talents to any one state though(even though I live in Texas). The one time that I have seen them I had to travel to Louisiana. I still haven't been able to catch their new video yet but hopefully will soon. Keep up the great work guys, and be careful on the road. Hope to see yall soon, Kathy Allen

Henderson, TX USA - Thursday, November 17, 2005 at 21:49:12 (EST)
Good ideal Tracey, I like that one! But Krista your right they don't get to play Texas very often iather. They don't play in Iowa very often too. And tell you the truth I see one date on the schedule that they have been to which is Milwalkee, WI, they played in Milwalkee right after Davenport on July 9 and they are returning back to that city and state, not sure exactly when, but it's soon. So thats why I say bad ideal for just a Texas run, do a run to all states they bearly tour and make those fans happy so "most to all" fans can be happy. I'm not all fans if they tour in Texas. I don't blame them for the winter, but for each career has its ups and downs, not everything good can come out of one job!
Susie
Susie <daddygrl84@aol.com>
Davenport, IA USA - Thursday, November 17, 2005 at 13:05:56 (EST)
I think it's a great idea for them to tour Texas. That is a huge state and they don't get to visit many cities there. They only get to do a few shows there a year, and have to go everywhere else. So, I say more power to them for wanting to make sure they please all the TX fans. Then maybe they'll have more time to visit more cities in lets say Missouri, and around Kansas City. So, whatever they can do to please all the fans the better, and the longer they will be around.

Well, you are forgetting, I'm the one who used to have seizures so I can't really drive. So the "just Texas run" is unfair to us fans who don't live in or near Texas because it's down there. So why not all states?

Memphis, TN USA - Tuesday, November 15, 2005 at 09:57:27 (EST)
Brady was talking about doing a Texas tour at the start of 2006.. I think that's wrong to just tour in one state like that. I think they should start going to states they hardly go to more like Iowa, Missouri, Mississippi, and California. I only seen the guys once this year which was really great and got lucky on that show. And the next date they came the cloesest to Davenport was on August 21 in Moline,Illinois. I couldn't go see that show because I wasn't 21. I just hope who ever reads this and can easally get into contact with the band to convince them that they souldn't just do a run in one state, why not all? There are 50 sates Hawii and Alaska included in America. Some states I hardly see on the schedule also would be New York and Maine as well as Oregon.

Way to go Lisa. I'm glad to see someone put to rest a false accusation about the band. Having seen the guys several times in the past few months that include venues from Cincinnati to Birmingham to Atlanta to Milwaukee it is beyond me how anyone can question the genuine talent of HAP. A few messages down, the comment was made that it was thought that HAP used a chorus effect on their vocals. The band prides themselves on 100% Natural Ingredients, and that they are. I just want to dispel this notion, because they work very hard to avoid anything artificial.

Good pictures Barb, really like them!!! I noticed that Trey has a tattoo on his right forearm, what is it of? Also I've noticed 2 things about Mark, he doesn't take good pictures alot, and that for a man he has beautiful hair! When I first seen the first picture I ever saw of him, I didn't think he was very attractive, but when I seen him in person, it was totally the oppisite, and didn't reconize him til I seen Trey standing behind him; talk about "OH MY GOD" so handsome!!

Hey Everyone..I have been real busy here at KCZQ radio, and havn't posted for awhile. I love the new merchandise, and I can't wait to see the new video ! This week, our radio station "did" REO Speedwagon, and Styx together at the Mayo Civic Auditorium in Rochester, MN. My assistant, Marla, and myself were in the sound booth with our friend, Gary Loizeo, origanlly from The American Breed band from the 60's (he is the sound man for Styx). The show was awesome, but I have to tell you, even amidst all the confetti, lights, and screaming fans, I was still thinking about Hot Apple Pie ! That's how much of an impact ya all have on me ! I really miss you guys, and am anxouisly waiting for a retun trip to the Midwest. God Bless , and please stay safe on the road, guys!

Yeah the guys are very nice, and I was so pleased with their stage show and their friendliness I can't wait to go see them again! Just if most of the artists were like Hot Apple Pie and Little Texas it would be easier for shy fans like me to actually feel comfortable around them! When someone treats you like they have known you, that just makes the whole meeting so much easier! And I know what you mean by charming, they are all so very cute, exspecially Mark! His blue eyes, just makes him so handsome!!! A man with blue eyes and nice attire is what I'm really into!

My friend, Margie, (she already posted her comment! :) and I saw HAP this weekend. The band was excellent. They have unbelievable talent and it shows! All the guys were so nice to everyone. They even smiled while they were on stage so that we could get great pictures. Brady was so nice he even took time away from his parents so that I could get a picture. His mom was even sweet enough to take it and to talk to me after the concert. All the guys were so friendly and nice...it really made the concert that much more enjoyable.

My friend and I just saw HAP in London, Kentucky on Friday night at the Chicken Festival. Not only was I impressed with their amazing musical abilities, but I was also very impressed with their friendliness and sheer charm. They were very patient with those of us who wanted autographs and pictures...and really seemed like "down-to-earth" guys! Keith, my absolute favorite, was so sweet! Thats the spirit!!! There is a site to do that too! It's called "I-Squad" so people please email me so I can give you the link to join. Sign up is free, and its a site to request the video's, song's at your local radio station, contests, answer the polls and trivias right all for points because you promoted Hot Apple Pie. And with the points you can buy things like Hot Apple Pie's album, tattoos, and shirt. But you got to have enough points to buy them or you can't buy them. If you are already a member, and recruit someone, you don't get points until the person you recruited reaches 499 points. So please all of you who wishes to join please email me with "I-Squad" in subject and lets get some more pie and keep them hot and fresh!

Saw HAP in Nashville on 9/13 and the show was awesome.
Got some great pics of the group and it was good to see them all looking so well. Tracy, it was good to see you and Mom, and Grandma again. See you next Friday in London.
I've heard "We're Makin Up" on the radio already. Everyone be sure to call your radio when it is released in your area and request it. Also, let's all request and vote for the video when it is released. Remember, NOTHING BUT PIE IN 2005!!!

Trish, I'm sure you must be mistaken about the "harmony machine." I've heard the guys do acoustic sets and full band. Both of which sound awesome! Perfect harmonies every time! If there was a small crowd it may have been lack of promotion on the venue or promoters part and shouldn't reflect on the guys. I've seen the band play very small venues and to 10,000 fans, both with energy and enthusiasm. But, since I wasn't at the show you are referring to, I can't say what the case was. If you can, go to another show! I can bet you'll have a blast!

This probably won't be a very popular post, but I saw HAP in Indianapolis on 09/15/05. I had been so pumped about the concert because I hear great musicianship on their CD, and I love the harmonies. I have to say, while there were a lot of good things that happened at the concert, I was disappointed. It was a small crowd, and the guys didn't seem real happy to be there. There was no acoustic set during the show, limiting showcasing of the talent the guys have with the exception of fantastic bass and drum solos, and, worst of all, I think they had a harmony machine on their effects rack! I hope this isn't true, but I was hearing very chorus-type harmonies, and only two people were singing. Anyway, let me know what you guys think. Trish

Hey have any of you heard the Hot Apple Pie radio talk where they talk about Trey spilling a gallon of milk all over the bus (clutz) and that Brady got to ride biles with Harly Davidson's grand son? It's so cool, and so funny! As you are listning to them, listen to the back round one of the guys or maybe its from the radio but it sounds like someone is beat boxing and whistling like the whistle from Hillbillies. But yeah its really cool, but funny and one opinion from me, the guys need a woman to travel on the bus with them to keep the bus clean and smelling good!

Ken, I tried to sign up for a radio rep, but am having trouble getting through. I am very interested, and would like to do this. I have been in radio for 18 years, and have worked at radio stations in Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin, and have a lot of friends and contacts in the radio business. I know all the radio stations around this area, and would be happy to help the guys. I know they have worked hard and deserve success ! Let me know ok cheryl Knight

Hey ya all..Thanks Ken for a place to talk about HAP! I have only seen them once in Jordon, MN Aug 12 and it was great! I have followed their progress for a long time. It was really worth the trip.. they are all so nice. I am a disc jockey from NE Iowa. I became interested after our station sponsored the Charlie Daniels Band in West Union, Ia. last year. I stayed in touch with the band, and after Sparky left, I was blown away by the new band he joined, Hot Apple Pie. There is a story behind all this. Sparky pretty much saved my soul and he doesn't even know it! It was great to see him again, and meet his new band members.I love your CD guys,Please stay safe on the road and hope to see you soon ! See ya ,Cheryl

I just saw HAP in Minn . I have to say these guys are the picture of class . There was a very small crowd there.
30 something I think ( this was no reflection in them , it was a political thing between the local gov and the venue )but they played like there were 30,000 .The concert was awesome .Everyone there was impressed I'm sure . Thank you guys for a great time . Stay safe on the road and God bless . :)

Hot Apple Pie opened for ZZ Top at the Ohio State Fair last Sunday. As usual, they put on a great (though short) show.
The crowd really warmed up to them once they saw the talent they had. We sat next to a couple from Georgia who had won a radio contest. Their prize was a trip to Ohio to see and meet Hot Apple Pie. They were thrilled and had the added good fortune to get to meet Brady's parents. The guys were all excited to be the opening act for ZZ Top. They had a few days off after the show before hitting the road again.

Hey guys just wanted to say if you don't hear from me for at least 4-5 days starting Sunday, I'll be out trucking with my father. I do know I'm going to Pennsylvania up there by New Jersy and New York. After that I'm not exactly sure where I'm going, dad's fleet manager will find the next best load to go pick up and drop off after that, so when I get home next Friday, I'll write about my trip and where I have gone.

I agree the album is a really good one! I'm not alot for slow songs but I do like a few of the slow songs, and my favorite songs including Hillbillies are "We're Makin Up", "Easy Life", "The Shape I'm In", "Redneck Revelution", and "I Should've Seen Her Leavin Comin." Great album, great guys, can't get enough of it and want some more of Hot Apple Pie! And of corse Brady can sing the love songs, he's known to do it very well from "My Love" in Little Texas! Great video too, he looked good!

Well...I was waiting on this new album and it's great! My almost 4 yr. old daughter loves Hillbillies and dances in her car seat to it daily! I love the album-- a nice 'variety' of songs... There's a great bunch of guys in this band! Hi Sparky! :-) I met you before...in Hershey, PA-- and Norfolk, VA ...glad to see you're back. I like the different vocals in 'The Shape I'm In' ..... and Brady, 'Why Can't I Get to You' is one of my favorites because you can sure sing a love song. Your voice is strong. I love it. Keep up the great work HAP!! I will keep voting.

I just found out about Hot Apple Pie. I was a big fan of Little Texas for years and went to many shows. I have pictures from back in those days. I am going today to buy their CD. Can not wait to hear it. Where can I go to find out where they are going to be in concert at? I am also going to try to find Thompson Street CD. I have Brady's first solo CD and love it. Went did Brady get married? Does he have Children? I have a picture of Brady with my daughter Brittany when she was 5 years old taken at Opreyland after one of their concerts. Brittany is now 16 but I love looking at the picture. Also got to see them twice here in Owensboro. Well I am so thrilled to find out about Hot Apple Pie. I am on my way out to get it now....Rhonda

I'm the soundman that you met in Little Rock, Arkansas, after the concert at the Electric Cowboy. I had hoped to shake each of your hands, only because each of you are extremely skilled at your crafts. Somehow I missed shaking hands with Trey and Mark. That was MY loss.
EXCELLENT show you guys! I wish I was working with you, but your soundman knows his stuff. Please be tollerant with each other and keep the band together. You'll go far. Redneck Revolution rocks! Hell, guys...YOU rock. Please come back to Arkansas soon....

Had a chance to see the guys perform at the Wild Horse Saloon. I never was a big country music fan until I started listening to Brady; and this album is great and will knock your socks off. It is country with some rock to it. I took 18 people with me and evryone of them thanked me for suggesting that we go see them. Hey Brady, sorry I didn't get to stick around that night to say hi but I needed to get the group back to the hotel. Hope to see you soon, Skyline is calling!
